Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines govern your use of Pologram’s messaging, calls, group communications, and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using Pologram, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, which are designed to protect the safety, security, and integrity of our platform, our users, and the law.
Pologram is a platform that values free expression but will not tolerate illegal, harmful, or dangerous activities. We reserve the right to take action on any behavior that violates these guidelines, up to and including account termination and legal reporting.
1. Prohibited Content and Activities
We have a zero-tolerance policy for the following content and activities:
Illegal Content
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content that depicts or promotes the abuse or exploitation of minors, including sexually explicit material or solicitations, is strictly prohibited. Pologram will report all such content to law enforcement authorities and cooperate fully with investigations.
Human Trafficking and Exploitation: This includes the promotion or facilitation of trafficking, prostitution, sexual exploitation, or any other form of human exploitation, particularly involving minors. Any attempt to recruit, advertise, or coerce others into such activities will result in immediate action, including referral to law enforcement.
Terrorism and Violent Extremism: Content that promotes or incites terrorism, violent extremism, or any form of violence against individuals or groups is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to content that encourages, plans, or supports terrorist attacks, violent acts, or mass harm.
Illegal Drugs and Controlled Substances: The promotion, sale, or facilitation of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or narcotic trafficking is strictly forbidden. This includes the sharing of links or instructions related to purchasing drugs or chemicals that are prohibited by law.
Violence and Harm
Threats of Violence: Do not post or share any content that threatens to harm or endanger the safety of individuals, groups, or communities. This includes threats of physical violence, shootings, bombings, or other forms of mass harm.
Bullying and Harassment: We have a zero tolerance policy for all forms of bullying, harassment, and hate speech. This includes, but is not limited to,:
Targeted harassment, insults, or intimidation based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other personal characteristics.
Stalking or coercion, including actions that make other users feel unsafe.
Doxxing—publishing private or sensitive information (e.g., home addresses, financial information) with the intent to harm or harass.
Hate Speech: We do not tolerate content that promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected status.
Self-Harm and Suicide Promotion: Content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is strictly prohibited. We also discourage the glorification of self-destructive behaviors.
Abuse, Exploitation, and Abuse of Minors
Grooming or Exploitation of Minors: Any attempt to establish relationships with minors for inappropriate purposes, including grooming for sexual exploitation or manipulation, is prohibited. Pologram will report all such content to authorities.
Child Nudity and Sexualization: Any content that sexualizes or exploits children, including nudity or suggestive behavior, will be removed and reported to law enforcement immediately.
Inappropriate Adult Content Involving Minors: We prohibit any content or behavior that seeks to involve minors in sexually explicit content or adult behavior, even indirectly.
Fraud and Deception
Fraudulent Activities: Any attempt to defraud others, including through fraudulent schemes (e.g., financial scams, phishing, or investment fraud), will result in immediate action and potential legal consequences.
Phishing and Identity Theft: Content aimed at stealing other users’ personal information, login credentials, or financial data is strictly prohibited. This includes attempts to deceive users into clicking malicious links or sharing private information.
Impersonation: Using deceptive tactics to impersonate others, including other users, public figures, or Pologram employees, in order to manipulate or harm others is prohibited.
Intellectual Property Violations
Copyright Infringement: You may not upload, share, or distribute copyrighted materials (e.g., movies, music, software) unless you have express permission from the copyright owner or are otherwise lawfully allowed to do so.
Trademark Violations: Using someone else’s trademarked name, logo, or brand in a way that is misleading or infringes upon their intellectual property rights is prohibited.
Misinformation and Harmful Content
Misinformation and Fake News: The spread of false or misleading information that can harm individuals, public safety, or society at large is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, misinformation related to public health (e.g., COVID-19), elections, or financial markets.
Dangerous or Harmful Challenges: Content promoting dangerous challenges, stunts, or activities that could lead to injury or death (e.g., the Tide Pod challenge, choking game) is prohibited.
Privacy and Confidentiality Violations
Revenge Porn: Non-consensual sharing of explicit content, particularly intimate images or videos, will result in immediate account suspension and referral to the authorities. This includes sharing private content as a form of revenge or retaliation.
Unauthorized Data Collection: Using Pologram to harvest data, track user activity, or collect private information without explicit consent is strictly prohibited. This includes scraping data for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial use.
Malware, Viruses, and Exploits: Uploading or distributing malicious code or software intended to harm, disrupt, or damage the Services or other users’ devices is prohibited. This includes viruses, malware, ransomware, or spyware.
2. Enforcement Actions
We reserve the right to take the following enforcement actions when content or behavior violates these guidelines:
Content Removal: We may remove content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
Account Suspension or Termination: Accounts found to be in violation of these guidelines may be temporarily suspended or permanently terminated. This may occur immediately or following an investigation.
Referral to Law Enforcement: In cases of illegal activity, including but not limited to child exploitation, terrorism, human trafficking, and other criminal actions, we will report the matter to law enforcement authorities. We will fully cooperate with investigations and legal proceedings.
Civil or Criminal Liability: You acknowledge that violations of these guidelines could expose you to criminal and civil liability under applicable laws.
3. Reporting Violations
If you encounter any content or behavior that you believe violates these guidelines, please report it immediately to Pologram’s support team. Reports can be made via:

4. Your Responsibility
As a user, you are responsible for the content you post and the behavior you engage in while using Pologram’s Services. You agree to:
Not engage in any prohibited activity or post any prohibited content.
Follow all applicable laws, both local and international, including those regarding privacy, intellectual property, and online behavior.
Comply with all terms set forth in these Community Guidelines.
5. Compliance with Laws
Pologram complies with all applicable Delaware state laws and U.S. federal laws, as well as international laws and regulations. This includes compliance with privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We will cooperate with law enforcement and government authorities to enforce these guidelines and legal compliance, including the provision of user data when required by subpoena or other legal processes.
6. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to address new legal, operational, or technical requirements. When changes are made, we will provide notice to users, typically through in-app notifications or updates to this page. Your continued use of Pologram after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new guidelines.
